Let me share a little about myself and the thoughts behind this blog.
Nice to meet you. My name is Shimei.
I live quietly in a small corner of the Japanese countryside.
I’m not very young anymore, but I enjoy a slow and peaceful life surrounded by nature.
I love animals and share my home with a dog and a cat.
My hobbies include watching movies, making handmade accessories, and traveling.
Although I haven’t been able to travel much lately, I still dream of visiting many different places someday.
For several years, I have been writing a blog in Japanese.
From time to time, I would translate some of my posts into English and share them there.
As the number of English articles gradually grew, I decided to create a separate blog dedicated to them.
Because my English is still a work in progress, I sometimes use AI tools to help with translation and writing.
If you notice any unusual expressions, I hope you will read them with kindness.
On my Japanese blog, I mainly write about spiritual topics and movie reviews.
That blog was created with the image of a quiet forest in mind, while this English blog is inspired by the sea.
Like gentle waves quietly reaching the shore, I hope this place can become a calm and comforting space for you.

Personal experiences, travel memories, beauty recommendations, and other articles based on my everyday life.
🐚 Review
My thoughts on movies, music, books, and other works that I love. I also hope to introduce many wonderful Japanese works here.
⚓ Thoughts

Thank you very much for visiting.
I would be very happy if this place could offer you even a small moment of peace and comfort.
Please feel free to stop by again anytime.
